YMC is welcoming new enrolments for all classes for September 2026 and the new academic year. Would you like to learn violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet or recorder? Or be part of an orchestra, chamber music group or our choir? We also offer classes for toddlers, voice/aural classes, music theory and composition classes. Do get in touch if you are interested in joining YMC for music classes on Saturday morning.

Classes run between 8:15 and 13:00 on Saturday mornings during term time at Bigwood House, Bigwood Road, London, NW11 7BD. 2026/27 will be YMC’s 60th Anniversary Year and promises to be an exciting year for YMC.

Each student at YMC has an individual timetable comprised of classes they wish to take. There are no auditions for entry to YMC, all students are welcome. YMC also has a generous bursary scheme.
